Driver Risk Management (RTO 45699) offers a comprehensive range of Driver & Vehicle Safety Solutions from a world-class, purpose-built facility located near Perth International Airport at 16 Grogan Road.

Driver Risk Management operates a Quality Assured Registered Training Organisation, providing Driver Training and Road Safety Education Programs for both corporate entities and individuals. These programs are designed to address specific road safety profiles and meet requirements.

Our Nationally Recognised and Non-Recognised Driver Training courses are aligned with National Competencies and can be tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals and organisations.

Currently, DRM is delivering a range of community programs, with a strong commitment to giving back to the community and prioritising corporate social responsibility within the automotive industry.

DRM 4WD Course - RIIVEH305F Operate and maintain a four wheel drive vehicle and TLIC0023 Operate four wheel drive vehicle

This dual competency involves the skills and knowledge required to operate a four wheel drive vehicle. It includes driving a four wheel drive vehicle on roads, traversing gradients, ascending and descending steep gradients, and operating in rugged terrain.   It also includes using vehicle equipment/controls and completing pre-start and post-operational checks safely in accordance with the relevant state/territory legislated roads and traffic licence requirements.   Driving involves the application of four wheel drive vehicle operating principles and procedures to maintain the safety and operation of a four wheel drive vehicle across a variety of on-road and off-road contexts.

Pro-Active Driver Training Course - TLIC1051 Operate commercial vehicle and RIIVEH201E Operate a light vehicle

This dual competency involves the skills and knowledge required to maintain the safety of and to operate a commercial vehicle across a variety of job roles.  It includes monitoring traffic and associated equipment, managing vehicle condition and performance, and effectively managing hazardous situations. It applies to those working in operational roles to undertake a prescribed range of functions involving known routines and procedures and take responsibility for the quality of work outcomes.

(Coupling and uncoupling a trailer, for Heavy (HC) and Multi Combination (MC)) Driving must be carried out in accordance with relevant state/territory roads and traffic authority licence requirements and regulations for heavy combination vehicles.

AURTGA001 Drive and manoeuvre trailers

This unit describes the performance outcomes required to drive and manoeuvre a trailer while it is attached to a driving vehicle. It involves inspecting the trailer before use, connecting the trailer to a vehicle, driving the trailer, and disconnecting the trailer from the vehicle. The trailers may have non-pivoting axles or pivoting front axles.

This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a side by side utility vehicle including undertaking pre-start checks and shut down procedures. The unit applies to individuals who operate side by side utility vehicles to undertake routine work.
