DRM may collect personal information concerning employment services, human resource management and other corporate service functions.

Personal information is generally collected directly from you or an authorised representative.

DRM will take reasonable steps to notify you of:

  • why we are collecting your personal information
  • what other parties will receive your information
  • how to access and seek correction of your personal information.

We will also take reasonable steps to ensure you are aware of how to lodge a complaint if you feel there has been a breach of the Privacy Act.

Data quality

DRM will take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we collect is accurate, up to date and complete.

Data security

DRM takes all reasonable steps to protect the personal information it holds against loss, unauthorised access, use, modification or disclosure, and against other misuses.

When no longer required, personal information is destroyed and deleted securely.

Complaints

If an individual feels that DRM has breached its obligations in the handling, use or disclosure of their personal information, they may raise a complaint. We encourage individuals to discuss the situation with their DRM representative in the first instance, before making a complaint.

The complaints handling process is as follows:

The individual should make the complaint including as much detail about the issue as possible, in writing to DRM:

admin@driverrisk.com.au

DRM will investigate the circumstances included in the complaint and respond to the individual as soon as possible (and within 30 calendar days) regarding its findings and actions following this investigation.

You can find more information in DRM’s Complaints and Appeals Policy.
